We will try to understand the main reasons behind environmental problems and find creative solutions and teach the students how to find innovative and creative solutions that can make them take responsibility for their own future by preparing them for professional life, doing business and dealing with nature, thus making them develop entrepreneurial skills. We would like to encourage the students to adopt an attitude of eco-awareness, which is a current key competence.

The schools are supposed to teach the contents of the project in classes on technology, economics, science, ecology, fair trade, sociology, biologi, geography, eco-psychology, and nutrition by showing the interdisciplinary relations between the above mentioned areas. However, the particularity of each partner school will contribute to the achievement of the common goal. Hence, every partner school is encouraged to put an emphasis on its special profile.

Experts will be invited to the schools to inform participants about the status quo in terms of research and possible opportunities both in the field of business and ecology. Students will be actively involved in workshops which will be organized during our project meetings. During the meetings the partners will visit the local places of interest with respect to their ecological relevance. The knowledge and skills gained in the project will help them to take responsibility.

The schools are expected to conduct a SWOT analysis for their region/country in order to eventually compare results and learn from the different approaches to cope best with ecological matters.
